Nolanda established Studio 2H Design after merging her firm, NHB Group, with Hoskins Architecture in 2015.
As a strategist and planner, Nolanda’s extensive experience provides her clients and their guests with “Design Excellence Beyond Expectation.” Her project experience includes churches, education, healthcare, municipal, finance, multi-family housing, and private residences. She strives to help her clients realize their project goals with unique and innovative solutions that fit their specific needs.
Nolanda received her B.A from the University of Notre Dame, and her J.D from the Cumberland School of Law. Nolanda is a member of the Alabama Board of Architects, the American Institute of Architects and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. She serves as chairperson of the Jefferson County Housing Authority Commission and has served as the president of both the Birmingham Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects and the AIA Birmingham Chapter.
Despite countless successful projects over a thirty-year career, Nolanda’s proudest accomplishment is raising her two children, Jamese and Nickolas. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cycling, golf, softball and weight training.
